“The one that started it all”

The original CMYK colour gamut jigsaw puzzle for the design inclined. Not just a simple gradient print, all 1000 pieces are carefully die-cut so each represents its own individual colour, delicately distinct from the 999 others. Your task is to create perfect colour harmony, placing each piece into its rightful spot on the spectrum.

"The idea came from enjoying the subtle differences in the blue of a sky in a particularly brutal jigsaw puzzle. I found that, without the presence of image detail to help locate a piece, I was relying only on an intuitive sense of colour, and this was much more satisfying. Unlike ordinary puzzles where you are redrawing a specific picture from a reference, you have a strange sense of where every piece belongs compared to every other. There is a real logic in the doing that is weirdly soothing, and therapeutic - it must be the German coming out in me. As each piece clicks perfectly into place, just so, it's a little win. Like a little pat on the back." – Clemens Habicht

The Play Group is a celebration of artistry, function and form. They craft puzzles that applaud art, encourage play and look beautiful in the home.
